Tai Chi
Qigong

Tai Chi is fun for children because they can imagine they
are playing with birds, tigers, monkeys, and dragons.
Children will also reap the many health, learning, and
social benefits of Tai Chi--focused attention, enhanced
creativity, and improved balance, circulation, and overall
health.
The class is focused on
ages 8 and up.
Participation of an adult
and child together is
welcomed.
The class will consist of
movement, sounds,
breathing, and history
of Tai Chi/Qigong in a format for children to understand
and enjoy. Tai Chi is low impact, so parents need not
worry about their child injuring joints or muscles.
A regular practice of Tai Chi/Qigong
develops children's ability to
focus on what they are doing
increasing their overall
attention span and ability to
concentrate, and also helps
them enhance their breathing
and motor skills. Good health starts in a bright smile
and laughter. May this class bring both, to you and your
child.
